Our Academics
Life Learning Center exists to partner with families to teach students life skills, appreciate the beauty of God's creation, and equip them to become contributing local and global citizens.

LLC offers interactive academics with proven steps to mastery. Language arts are taught with a strong phonetic foundation and rich literary material. Promoting logical and inquiry-based reasoning for learning development is the approach to all subjects.
Literacy
Strong literature is used to encourage students to understand and explore new material. Comprehension and delivery cultivate literacy appreciation. Context clues are used to extrapolate meanings of new vocabulary. Presentations are given regularly by each student on self-selected topics, assigned topics, and categorical topics.
Writing
Students use their experience, interests, and understanding, combined with training and research to develop their skills and portfolios. Self-editing, peer-editing, and teacher guidance are used to enrich expertise.
Mathematics
Mathematics is taught using the Socratic method of inquiry. Mastery is supported by spiraling learning content.
Science
Topical content drives our science academics. Interactive and engaging sessions are an important and guiding force for science sessions.
Geography
An historical timeline guides us for our research and discovery in geography. Maps and literary texts are incorporated in our geography study.
Physical Education
An appreciation of how the mind and body synergistically work is the catalyst for physical education. Students gain appreciation for themselves and each other, developing good sportsmanship, respect, and encouragement as they participate.
Bible
The Bible is incorporated into every subject and aspect of LLC learning, in addition to daily Bible class that explores the stories and truths of the Holy Scripturesl We use the Word of God to lead us in exemplifying Christian conduct and to guide us in all areas of life.
